In 2024, our foundation launched the III Scholarship Fund. The III Scholarship Fund awards several annual bursaries to qualified candidates to advance their educational goals and life aspirations.

Mindful of the importance of human capital development as well as the transformational

effect education has on the growing adult, as an awardee of the Prince (Chief) Ismaila

Ibrahim Ikharo (III) Foundation III Scholarship Fund , the progress of your education will be

tracked through your approved universities. This mentorship will continue throughout your tenure

under our fund for an all expenses paid education while maintaining specific criterion of excellence.

The III Scholarship Fund will reward qualified candidates whose constraint to education is one

that is financially apparent through their economic development.

We hereby announce that the process of application is open to candidates in any of the 36 states within Nigeria from all stages of education from preparatory education to post graduate schooling who currently possess constraints to finances for education. All funds will be applied to the cost of formal (classroom / schooling) education as well as living expenses for the qualified candidates. 

The late Chairman of the III Scholarship Fund, Prince (Chief) Ismaila Ibrahim Ikharo, the past Seriki Samali of Auchi Sacred Kingdom was an educationalist who believed in the upliftment of humanity regardless of age, race, gender or religion. He believed that education was the bedrock of life itself and his life was a testament to this. In 1977, on a journey toward higher education, he arrived first in Ohio where he later graduated with a bachelors and masters degrees. He later moved to California with his wife, Princess Hauwa Ahmed Ikharo who also graduated with a masters in Social Work from a California University while he pursued an additional degree from the University of San Francisco. Education was his legacy which he believed to be the best gift one could bequeath to any generation and to this end, five years after his passing, the III Scholarship Fund has birthed a support system for many families and applicants. 

As a beneficiary of the III Scholarship Fund one should expect to be mentored by seasoned professionals in education and a life changing exposure to a wide network of individuals locally and internationally. This experience is meant to drive transformational impact amongst individuals and communities for improved success in your field on the global stage.
